What Really Motivates People?

It isn’t MONEY!  Are you surprised?  So, what is it?

  • Mastery of a talent or strength – the urge to get better
  • Challenge
  • Self-Direction
  • Purpose Motive and Maximization

Steve Jobs says “I want to put a ding in the Universe.”  His corporation is one of the most innovative on our planet at the moment.

Treat people like people.  We can build organizations that can make us better off, and promise to make our world a little bit better.  A concept that is character-based AND supported by the research across the world.  Our corporate philosophy is not yet there.  And, it will take work to get us there.  We won’t regret it, if we are willing to take the time and make the effort to lead authentically from who we are.
